What is ILP (formally AIPF)?

Founded in 2006, as the Australian Institute of Professional Facilitators (AIPF), the Institute of Learning Practitioners (ILP) strategic imperative is to improve the effectiveness and value of learning and development. They do this by:
  • providing world-class professional development for learning practitioners; and
  • working with organisations and individuals to get better results from learning initiatives.

ILP is a membership based organisation providing recognition, benefits and networking opportunities for all learning practitioners, including:

  • Facilitators
  • Trainers
  • Coaches
  • Course Designers
  • Speakers
  • Educators
  • Human Resource Professionals
  • Organisational Development Consultants

Through their services they are building the credibility and recognition of learning practitioners as valued business partners.

ILP events

Each State has a program of evening events, including professional development seminars, and networking opportunities. These events are available to members at special rates. Non-members are welcome.

ILP events are offered on a national and state basis, with slightly different activities in each State to reflect local interests and needs. Each year, ILP holds a Tools and Techniques Expo. This is the premium event for learning and development professionals that showcases the latest tools, techniques and resources available and provides an excellent opportunity to network with other learning and development professionals, clients and service providers.
